FDCF is a CF reader/writer which enables to emulate CF as FDD.

This product is the Japanese version, so documents including user's manual are Japanese.
But, English user's manual are available.

Features

• FDCF is a CF reader/writer which enables to emulate CF as FDD
  Connect 34pin Signal cable/4pin Power cable for FDD to FDCF, then you can read/write CF media.
  
  
• FDCF is recognized as FDD in a host computer wihtout installation of drivers/utility software
  No need to change OS, drivers, applications in a system.
  Format can be made by the same procedure as FDD.
  Boot disk, utility for upgrading BIOS can work without any setting.
  
  
• Easy maintenance
  It is much easier to maintain CF media as CF media is easier to purchase, and also high reliability.
  ※CF media over 4MB can work in this product.
  ※Capacity of CF media formatted by this product is limited to FD mode(1.44MB/1.23MB,etc), regardless of capacity of CF media.

• Enable write-protect setting
  DIP switch at the front enables wriite-protect to CF media.
  
  
• Can install 2 units of FDCF's
  A drive and B drive will be assigned respectively by setting DIP switch at the back.
  ※A host system must be compatible with 2 units of FDD.
• An optional software enables your USB CF reader/writer to access the CF media .
  CF media formatted by FDCF is dedicated to FDCF and other USB CF reader/writer can NOT basically access the CF media.
  However, File Manager for Windows(Product Name: RSD-FDFM) enables USB CF reader/writer to access the CF media formatted by FDCF.

  Even if your PC doesn't have a FDD, you can access data at CF media acquired by FDD based system such as data loggers, measurement equipments
  by USB CF reader/writer on a PC with RSD-FDFM.
  
  And also, you can copy files onto CF media on a PC and keep using the CF media in FDCF installed FDD based system.
  You can format CF media by RSD-FDFM to use CF media in FDCF(Support FAT16/FAT32).

• Non-use of RoHS 6 Restricted SubstancesAs FDCF is free from 6 hazardous substances:Pb, Hg, Cd, Cr(VI), PBB, PBDE, it is eco- & human- friendly product.
